THE CITY OF KONAN WORLD PEACE DECLARATION

Eternal World Peace is a strong wish that all the human beings can share.
○
In reality,however,there are many confilicts and wars occurring all over the world
every day. All mankind can no longer live free from fear of a possible
development of a total nuclear war.
○
We, the only nation that experienced the appalling disaster of the atomic
bomb, have the obligation and the responsibility to continue appealing
to the world that the tragedy in Hiroshima and Nagasaki musut not be repeated again.
○
We, the only nation that witnessed the worst sin committed this century,
ought to make a continuous effort to remove the horrible fear of warfare
involving atomic and hydrogen bombs from the face of the earth.
○
The City of Konan will hereby solemnly declare her determination to become a
City Promoting Ever-lasting World Peace through the following objectives:

1.To advocate and achieve the ultimate aim of total disarmament
○
2.To develop and implement a policy for the realization of World Peace
○
3.To vitalize international exchange and promole understanding of other countries.
○
